68-142 PERTAINING TO REFUSE COLLECTION
RULES AND REGUI~TIONS
WHEREAS, by virtue of Ordinance NS-823 the City Council
is authorized to regulate refuse collection and to establish
charges for the collection and disposal of refuse by resolution;
and
WHEREAS, by Resolution 68-142, the City Council exercised
such authority; and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the City Council now to amend
such regulations and rates by this resolution to supplant Resolution
68-142;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council of
the City of Santa Ana does hereby amend Resolution 68-142 in the
following particulars:
1. That paragraph 5 of said Resolution 68-142 be amended
to delete the phrase "except those which are located in the map
area as defined in and regulated by paragraph 6 next hereinbelow
set out."
2. That paragraph 6 of said Resolution 68-142 be deleted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the provisions of this
Resolution shall take effect on November 1, 1970.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Ana at its regular meeting held on the 8th day of September, 1970.
