SANTA ANA COMMENDING TERRY
PRICE FOR AN ACT OF HEROISM
WriER EAS, it has come to the attention of the City Council that
on December 9, 1970, TERRY PRICE, together with STEi~HEN
CUNNINGHAM, entered a burning apartment dwelling located at 1519
North Dresser, Santa Aha, and aided in the rescue of Miss Naomi
Schoeneweg; and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the City Council to acknowledge
acts of heroism and express appreciation therefor;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: that the City Council
of the City of Santa Aha, individually, collectively, and in a
representative capacity for the citizens of this fine City, commend
TERRY l~RICE for his actions on December 9, 1970, to wit: making
entry through a window of the burning apartment and aiding in the rescue
of the occupant, including administering mouth to mouth resuscitation,
thereby saving her life;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: that acknowledgment and
appreciation be proclaimed for this unselfish act which resulted in
the saving of a life notwithstanding the apparent danger to his own.

Ma at its regular meeting held on the 4th day of January , 197 1
