RESOLUTION ORDERING CHANGES IN
DESCRIPTIONS 0P ASSESSMENTS
ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 236
SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA
WHEREAS, ambiguities may exist in the legal descriptions
of some of the parcel sof real property assessed in this assess-
ment district as such descriptions are set forth in the assessment
recorded in the office of the Director of Public Works of said
City of Santa Ana, because of the method used in preparing said
descriptions, and if so, should be eliminated.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Santa Ana, State of California, in regular session
assembled, that the legal descriptions of the following numbered
assessments set forth in said assessment, and in the bonds issued
to represent the unpaid amount of said assessments, are amended
to read as follows:
Assessment No. 4:
The Southerly 50 feet of Lot 24 of the Birch
Addition to Santa Ana, Book 3, Page 145 of
Miscellaneous Records of Los Angeles County,
California.
Assessment No. 19:
The Southerly 50 feet of the property described
as that portion of Lots 2 and 3 in Block 13 of
the Town of Santa Ana, Book 2, Page $1 of
Miscellaneous Records of Los Angeles County,
California; beginning on the North line of
Fourth Street at a point 62.5 feet East of its
intersection with the East line of Broadway;
thence East along the North line of Fourth
Street 21.53 feet; thenee North to the North
line of said Lot 3; thence West along the North
line of said Lot 3 a distance of 21.20 feet to
an intersection with a line running Northerly
at right angles to the North line of Fourth
~treet through the point of beginning; thence
Southerly along said line to the point of
beginning.
Assessment No. 20:
The Southerly $0 feet of the property described
as that portion of Lots 2 and 8 in Block 18
of the Town of Santa Ana, Book 2, Page 51 of
Miscellaneous Records of Los Angeles County,
California; beginning on the North line of
Fourth Street at a point 84.03 feet East of
its intersection with the East line of Broadway;
thence North to the North line of said Lot 3;
thence East along the North line of said Lot 3
21.30 feet; thence South 100 feet to the North
line of Fourth Street; thence West 20.9? feet
to the point of beginning.

The Southerly 50 feet of the East 20 feet of

Assessment No. 22:
The Southerly 50 feet of the West 35 feet of

Assessment No. 24:
The Southerly $0 feet of the property described
as that portion of Lots two and three in Block
Fourteen of the Town of Santa Ana, Book 2,
Page 51 of Miscellaneous Records of Los Angeles
County, California; commencing at the Southwest
corner of said Lot two said point of commencement
being the intersection of the North line of
Fourth Street with the East line of Sycamore
Street; thence East along Fourth Street 57 feet;
thence North 50 feet to a point in the North
line of said Lot two; thence East along said
line 20 feet; thence North 60 feet to a point
in the North line of said Lot three distant
East 77 feet from the East line of Sycamore
Street; thence West along the North line of
said Lot three 77 feet to the East line of
Sycamore Street; thence South along Sycamore
Street 100 feet to the point of commencement.

California; beginning at a point on the South

the Southeast corner of said Lot 1; running
thence Northerly 69.71 feet along a line
which if extended Northerly would intersect
the North line of Lot 4 in said Block 14 at
a point 46.93 feet West of the Northeast
corner of said Lot 4; thence West 0.37 feet;
thence Northerly 30.29 feet along a line
parallel to the line of the first course if
extended Northerly to a point in the North
line of said Lot 4, 47.30 feet West of the
Northeast corner of said Lot 4; thence West
along the North line of said Lot 4, 46.96 feet;
thence South 100 feet to the South line of
said Lot 1; thence East 46.33 feet to the
point of beginning.

County, bounded and described as follows:
beginning at the Northwest corner of said Lot
10 and running thence Easterly along the
Northerly line of said Lot 41 feet and 8 inches;
thence South 100 feet to the South line of
Lot 7 in said Block 12; Thence Westerly along
the South line of said Lot 7, 41 feet and 8
inches to the Southwest corner of said Lot 7;
thence Northerly along the Westerly line of
said Lots 7 and 10, 100 feet to the point of
beginning.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that in the description of
each parcel of real property described in said assessments and in
said bonds, reference shall be made to the maps thereof on file
in the Miscellaneous Records of Los Angeles County, California.
