HomeMy WebLinkAbout71-096RESOLUTION 71-96 OVERRULING THE DECISION OF THE PLAlql~ING COMMISSION AND CONDITIONALLY GRANTING CUP 71-23 FILED BY CHARLES AND MARGARET J. RUFF BE IT RESOLVED: That, the City Council of the City of Santa Ana does hereby overrule the decision of the Planning Commission and does hereby grant Conditional Use Permit 71-23 filed by Charles and Margaret J. Huff for a rest home in an existing single family residence in the R 1 District at 910 N. Sheffield Street, Santa Ana, subject to the following conditions: That development be according to the approved plot plan, except for minor modifications approved by the Planning Department. 2. That all conditions of the Building and Fire De- partments be met. That a landscape plan be submitted to and approved by the Planning Department, including the provisions of Sec. 41-618 of the Zoning Ordinance, and that said landscaping be implemented and be continuously maintained. 4. Pay street lighting deposit for future street lights. 5. Pay street tree charges. 6. Construct necessary street improvements: sidewalk. 7. Repair or replace existing street improvements to City Standards: driveway. Ail public improvement construction shall be subject to inspection and approval by the Department of Public Works. The following requirements must also be met: 1. Improvements: (a) Replace asphalt drive approach to City standards. NOTE: The applicant should investigate regular fees for future orna- mental street lights, street improvements, etc. PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa Ana at its regular meeting held on the 18th day of October, 1971.
