RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA
AN;k, CALIFORNIA, ORDERING THE WORK AND IMPROVEMENT
TOGETHER WITH APPURTENANCES AND APPURTENANT WORK IN
ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 215 (MAPLE/COLUMBINE), IN
THE CITY OF SANTA ANA.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA, pur-
suant to the provisions of the '~Improvement Act of 1911", being
Parts 1, 2 and 3 of Division 7 of the Streets and Highways Code
of the State of California, DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
That the public interest and convenience require the work
and improvement hereinafter mentioned to be done, and therefore
the said City Council hereby orders the following work to be done
and improvements to be made, to wit:
The construction of certain street improvements to-
gether with appurtenances and appurtenant work in
connection therewith in ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 215
(MAPLE/COLUMBINE), all as described in Resolution
of Intention No. 72-127, adopted on the 18th day of
December, 1972.
For further particulars reference is hereby made to said
Resolution of Intention No. 72-127 and to the plans and drawings
for said improvement on file in the Office of the City Engineer
and the City Clerk of said City, and to the specifications for
said work heretofore adopted by said City Council and on file in
the Office of the City Engineer and the City Clerk of said City,
and all of said plans, drawings and specifications heretofore
approved by the City Council of said City are incorporated here-
in and made a part hereof and reference is hereby made thereto
for a more particular description of said work.
Said City Council has determined and declared that the con-
templated work and improvement heretofore mentioned was in the
opinion of said City Council of more than local or ordinary pub-
lic benefit, and said City Council has made the expense of said
work chargeable upon a district. For a particular description
of said district, reference is hereby made to said Resolution of
Intention No. 72-127.
Said City Council has determined and declared that Serial
Bonds bearing interest at the rate of six (6%) percent per annum
and extending over a period ending nine (9) years from the 2nd
day of January next succeeding the next September ist following
their date, will be issued hereunder in the manner provided by
the "Improvement Act of 1911", being Part 5 of Division 7 of the
Streets and Highways Code of the State of California, to repre-
sent each assessment of Fifty ($50.00) Dollars or more, remaining
unpaid for thirty (30) days after date of mailing by the con-
tractor or his assigns of the statement to property owners pur-
suant to Section 5390 of the Streets and Highways Code.
Ail of the work herein ordered shall be done and carried through
pursuant to an Act of the Legislature of the State of California
designated the "Improvement Act of 1911'r, being Parts 1, 2 and
3 of Division 7 of the Streets and Highways Code.

Said bonds shall include a redemption provision providing
that a premium of five percent (5%) on the unmatured principal
shall be paid in the event of redemption of a bond prior to
maturity date thereof.
