RESOLUTION 73-17
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SANTA ANA ORDERING THE VACATION OF A POR-
TION OF POINSETTIA STREET SOUTH OF PENN WAY
WHEREAS, on recommendation of the Department of Public
Works and the Planning Commission of the City of Santa Ana,
Resolution 73-13 was adopted giving notice of intention to
vacate that portion of Poinsettia Street south of Penn Way;
WHEREAS, on March 19, 1973 a public hearing was duly held
on said vacation of street on posted notices and the publication
of said Resolution 73-13;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council of
the City of Santa Ana hereby finds that above mentioned street
is no longer necessary for present or prospective street pur-
poses and does hereby make its order to vacate said right of
way. Said right of way lies in the City of Santa Ana, County
of Orange, State of California, described as follows:
The Southerly 92.30 feet of Poinsettia Street, a
public right of way 45.00 feet in width, in the
City of Santa Ana, County of Orange, State of Calif-
ornia, being bounded Northerly by the Westerly pro-
longation of the Southerly line of the Northerly
32.50 feet of Lot 13, Block 11 of "Subdivision of
Blocks 10 and 11 in the Town of Santa Ana, East"
as shown on a map recorded in Book 24, page 76 of
Miscellaneous Records of Los Angeles County, Calif-
ornia, and bounded Southerly by the Westerly pro-
longation of the Southerly line of Lot 15 of said
Block 11.
Reserving an easement and right of way to construct,
lay, install, use, maintain, alter, add to, repair,
replace, inspect and/or remove, at any time and from
time to time, aerial and underground electric lines
and communication lines, consisting of poles, guys
and markers and other fixtures and appliances, for
conveying electric energy to be used for light, heat,
power, telephone and/or other related uses, in, on,
over, under and through that certain real property
in the city of Santa Ana, County of Orange, State of
California, described as follows:
The Easterly 10.00 feet thereof.
Also reserving an easement and right of way to
construct, lay, install, use, maintain, alter,
add to, repair, replace, inspect, and/or remove,
at any time and from time to time, surface and
underground drainage structures for drainage pur-
poses, or other related uses, in, on, over, under
and through that certain real property in the City
of Santa Ana, County of Orange, State of California,
described as follows:
The Westerly 4.00 feet thereof.

Santa Ana at its regular meeting held on the l~th
