RESOLUTION 73-29; A RESOLUTION OF THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA,
CALIFORNIA, COMMENDING WADE M. HERRIN
WHEREAS,
Mayor Wade M. Herrin has served the citizens of
Santa Ana on the City Council for a period of eight
years; and
WHEREAS,
Mayor Wade M. Herrin's service to the citizens
in official capacity has been fulfilled to the limit
permitted under the City Charter; and
WHEREAS,
Mayor Wade M. Herrin has been the kind of
publicly elected official who has commanded the
constant respect and confidence of those who know
him, even those who disagree with him; and
WHEREAS,
Mayor Wade M. Herrin is the kind of man who
always listens to people regardless of who they are;
and
WHEREAS,
Mayor Wade M. Herrin always stands up for what
is right, based on his conviction of truth as expressed
in God's Word, the Bible,
NOW,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that Vernon S. Evans, Lorin
Griset, J. Ogden Markel, Jerry M. Patterson, Ray
Villa and Harry K. Yamamoto, his fellow Councilmen,
do hereby salute Wade Herrin as an extraordinary,
outstanding, unique human being endowed with character
and common sense, with good humor, along with a
great deal of kindness and concern for other people.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa Aha at
its regular meeting held on the 2nd day of April, 1973.
