A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AMENDING THE
ARTERIAL STREETS PORTION OF THE "LAND
USE AND ARTERIAL STREETS" ELEMENT OF
THE GENERAL PLAN
WHEREAS, the City of Santa Ana has adopted a General Plan,
and has amended it from time to time, which plan among other
things provides for its future physical development; and
WHEREAS, the Santa Ana Planning Commission, after con-
ducting the published public hearing required by the Santa
Ana Municipal Code, held its regular meeting the 9th day of
April, 1973, and by its Resolution No. 6029 has recommended
to the City Countil that the Proposed General Amendment No.
1973-1 (between Harbor Blvd. and West Street; Westminster and
Hazard Avenues), prepared by the Santa Ana Planning Department,
be adopted; and
WHEREAS, the City Council gave due notice of hearing by
publication as required by the Santa Ana Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, said public hearing was heid at the time and
place so published.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council
of the City of Santa Ana hereby adopts the recommendation of
the Santa Ana Planning Commission as contained in its Resolu-
tion No. 6029, and does adopt the Proposed General Plan Amend-
ment No. 1973-1.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That in accordance with Chapter
27, Article II, Section 16 of the Santa Ana Municipal Code said
proposal is hereby adopted.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of
Santa Ana at its regular meeting held on the Zlst
day of May , 1973.
