A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA
APPROVING ~qE ASSI6~q~T BY CITY OF SAN~A ANA TO CITY OF
GALEN GROVE TOPICS FU~S ~T.~OCATED TO T~E CITY CF SANTA
ANA FOR THE YEAR 1972-73.
WHEREAS, a Master ~3re~nent for the TOPICS Progr~n was entered into
between the City of Santa Ana and the State on February 1, 1971; and
WHEREAS, program regulatic~s permit assigr~ent of TOPICS funds to an-
other City or County; and
WHEREAS, tb~ City of Santa Ana and the City of Garden Grove agree that
traffic signal progression is necessary on Euclid Street; and
WHEREAS, a participation Agreement between the Cities has previously
been enacted by the Cities; and
WHEREAS, certain modifications are necessary to upgrade the signal
syst~ existing at the intersection Euclid Street and Westminster Avenue;
NOW THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA D~S RESOLVE
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: ~ne City of Santa Ana shall assign to the City of Garden
Grove-~/~i'unds allocated to the City of Santa Aha for the year 1972-73,
in an amount of approximately Fifteen Thousand Dollars ($15,000.00); the exact
amount to be determined by the exact final cost of the completed project.
SECTION 2: Assigi=~-nt of these funds will not jeopardize TOPICS funds
being utilized under current or proposed projects within the City of Santa AD~.
SECTION 3: The City Clerk is hereby directed to forward certified
copies of ~-~ Resolution to the State Depa~ ~ent of Public Works and to
the City of Garden Grove.
