A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AMENDING SECTION
3 OF RESOLUTION NO. 58-281 INCREASING
THE SALARY SCHEDULE ALLOCATIONS FOR
CERTAIN MANAGEMENT CLASSIFICATIONS
WHEREAS, On November 3, 1958, the City Council passed and
adopted Resolution No. 58-281 revising and establishing the
Basic Compensation Plan for'employees of the City of Santa Ana;
and
WHEREAS, the City Council has from time to time amended
this Resolution; and
WHEREAS, in accordance with stipulations of Memoranda of
Understanding between the City of Santa Ana and the several Asso-
ciations of City Employees the City Council on September 5, 1972
passed and adopted Resolution 72-99 incorporating the provisions
of these Memoranda which provided increases for all employees
effective September 1, 1972 and subsequent increases for all
employees, except management personnel, effective April 1 and
July 1, 1973 and January 1 or April 1, 1974 (sworn Police and
Fire personnel only); and
WHEREAS, it is now desired to adjust the salary range
allocations of certain management olassifications listed in Section
3 of Resolution No. 58-281;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That Section 3 of Resolution
No. 58-281 is hereby amended to read as follows:
SECTION 3: Allocation of Classes of Employment to Salary
and Wage Schedules. The following classes of employment shall be
allocated to salary and wage ranges on the effective dates as set
forth below:

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That this Resolution shall take
effect as of the 1st day of July, 1973.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Ana at its regular meeting held on the 16 day of July , 1973.
