ASSIf~T BY THE CITY OF SANTA ANA
FRC~ THE CITY OF GARDt~ GROVE OF
TOPICS FUND~ ALLOCAa'~u TO THE CITY
OF GA~D~ GROVE FOR THE YEAR 1972-73
WHEREAS, the City of Santa Ana proposes to make i~prov~ments to the traffic
sigDa]s and safety lighting at the intersectic~ of Westminster Avenue and Harbor
Boulevard a portic~ of which is in the City of Garden Grove; and
WHEREAS, the City of Santa Ana has entered into a cooperative agree~_nt
with the City of Garden Grove, dated May 16, 1972, to share the cost of such improve-
ments; and
Wh~a~S, this project has been suhnitted to the State Division of Highways
for inclusion in and binding under the TOPICS Program.
NOW, THErEFOr, the City Council of the City of Santa Aha hereby accepts
the transfer of Tf~ICS allocatic~s frcm the City of Garden Grove in the ~mount of
$8,625.00 more or less. This ~mount is 25% of the total estimated cost and is
based on the fact t-hat Garden Grove has jurisdiction over one leg, or 1/4 of the
total number of legs. The ~unt of assigned TOPICS funds will be based on the
act,,~l cost of the project and will be determined as specified in the agreement
between the City of Garden Grove and the City of Santa Aha.

meeting held on the 18 day of July 1973.
