A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SANTA ANA ESTABLISHING THE SALARY OF THE CLERK
OF THE COUNCIL ON A FLAT RATE BASIS
WHEREAS, the City Council recently adjusted the salary of
the Clerk of the Council to bring it into the range of currently
prevalent salaries for similar positions in cities of comparable
size; and
WHEREAS, the incumbent Clerk of the Council has progressed
through the assigned salary range and is currently on the maximum
step of that range; and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the City Council to place the
position of Clerk of the Council on a fixed salary rate equivalent
to the maximum rate of the currently assigned salary range;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the salary for the
~osition of Clerk of the Council of the City of Santa Aha, California,
is hereby fixed and established at a flat rate of $1,684 per month
and that said salary shall be paid in the same manner and at the
same time as other monthly salaries in the City are paid.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Aha at its special meeting held on the 8 day of August
1973.
