RESOLUTION NO. 73-114
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SANTA ANA AUTHORIZING THE EXECU-
TION OF AN AGREEMENT FOR STATE ADMINIS-
TRATION OF LOCAL SALES AND USE TAXES
WHEREAS, the City of Santa Ana has adopted an Ordinance
imposing a sale and use tax to be administered by the State
Board of Equalization; and
WHEREAS, said ordinance and Section 7202 of the Revenue
and Taxation Code require that the City contract with the
State Board of Equalization to perform all functions incident
to the administration and operation of the sales and use tax
ordinance; and
WHEREAS, the City now desires to enter into a contract
with the State Board of Equalization for administration of
local sales and use taxes;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Mayor is autho-
rized and empowered to execute, sign and deliver on behalf of
the City of Santa Ana, the "Agreement for State Administration
of Local Sales and Use Taxes" by and between the City and the
State Board of Equalization, a copy of which agreement is
attached hereto and incorporated by reference herein.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City
of Santa Ana at its regular meeting held on the 1
day of October , 1973.
