A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA
COMMENDING SANTA ANA COLLEGE AND THE
RANCHO SANTIAGO COLLEGE DISTRICT
WHEREAS,
SANTA ANA COLLEGE was founded in 1915 and has
grown to an enrollment of almost 20,000 students
and a distinguished faculty of 700 members in
1975; and
WHEREAS,
thousands of Santa Aha residents have attended
Santa Aha College and have benefited from the
varied courses and programs of study available
to them in their own community; and
WHBRBAS,
SANTA ANA COLLEGE has contributed immeasurably
to the intellectual, social, and cultural life
of our City through its academic, athletic, and
artistic programs; and
WHEREAS,
the administration and faculty of SANTA ANA
COLLEGE have worked in close cooperation with
government and community leaders to provide
training and educational opportunities which
have enriched the lives of all of Santa Ana's
citizens;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of
the City of Santa Aha on behalf of all Santa Aha
residents commends the RANCHO SANTIAGO COLLEGE
DISTRICT Board, and the administration, faculty
and students for the record of accomplishments
of SANTA ANA COLLEGE, and expresses gratitude
for the many contributions that SANTA ANA COLLEGE
has made and will continue to make to the life
of our City.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Ana at its regular meeting held on the 19th
