A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SANTA ANA ADOPTING THE CONSERVATION ELEMENT
OF THE GENERAL PLAN
WHEREAS, the State of California has required all
cities to prepare a Conservation Element on or before
December 31, 1973; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Department has prepared a
Conservation Plan in accordance with the guidelines and
mandates of the State; and
WHEREAS, an Environmental Impact Report has been
prepared on said Conservation Plan covering any signifi-
cant impacts of the Plan; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has found the pro-
posed Conservation Plan is in conformance with the State
guidelines and the Environmental Impact Report is acceptable,
has accepted the Environmental Impact Report as complete,
and has recommended the approval of said Conservation Plan.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council
of the City of Santa Ana does concur in the acceptance of
the Environmental Impact Report as complete; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the City Council does
hereby approve said Conservation Plan for the City of
Santa Ana.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City
of Santa Ana at its adjourned regular meeting held on the
10th day of December , 1973.
