A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SANTA ANA PROCLAIMING MAY 9, 1974, THE
MAY'OR'S PRAYER BREAKFAST DAY
WHEREAS, the Mayor's Prayer Breakfast is a local version
of the Presidential Prayer Breakfast held annually since 1952
in Washington, D. C.; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor's Prayer Breakfast in Santa Ana has
become a proudly unifying and inspirational tradition as a
time for the rededication of the individual and the community
to GOD; and
WHEREAS, people of every religious denomination recognize
GOD'S righteous government over the communities of the world;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the time and place
for the Mayor's Prayer Breakfast be assigned as follows:
May 9, 1974, 7:30 a.m.
Trabuco Room, Saddleback Inn
1660 East First Street
Santa Ana, California
To acknowledge GOD'S blessings in the past, to ask HIS
protection in the future, and pray HIS beneficence upon our
City and citizens.
