A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SANTA ANA RESCINDING RESOLUTION NO. 74-64 "RES-
TRICTING PARKING ON CERTAIN AREAS OF GREENVILLE
STREET BETWEEN STANFORD STREET AND WARNER AVENUE",
AND RESTRICTING PARKING ALONG GREENVILLE STREET
BETWEEN WARNER AND POMONA.
WHEREAS, in order to provide and maintain the maximum
traffic flow upon Greenville Street, and to permit the es-
tablishment of bicycle lanes for an increasing number of
bicyclists, the full width of said street must be employed
in certain areas during certain times of the day; and
WHEREAS, the maintenance of parking spaces upon said
street in those areas during those certain times would con-
stitute a consideration hazard to motorists and bicyclists
by reason of the necessity of closing traffic lanes to pro-
vide such parking spaces.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that Resolution No. 74-64
is hereby rescinded.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that parking, stopping, or standing
of vehicles is hereby prohibited between the hours of 7:00 a.m.
and 6:00 p.m. except Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays on both
sides of Greenville Street between Warner and Pomona Streets
in the City of Santa Ana, California.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of
Santa Ana at its regular meeting held on the 15th day of
July , 1974.
