RESOLUTION NO. 74-119
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SANTA ANA UPHOLDING THE DECISION OF THE PLANNING
COMMISSION TO CHANGE THE NAME OF HOFFMAN STREET
TO COTTONWOOD STREET EFFECTIVE JANUARY l, 1975.
WHEREAS, on the recommendation of the Planning Commission,
the City Council has determined that it would be in the best
interest of the City of Santa Ana to change the name of Hoffman
Street to Cottonwood Street;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council of
the City of Santa Ana does hereby change the name of Hoffman
Street to Cottonwood Street effective January l, 1975;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the Director of Public Works
is instructed to place street name signs on Cottonwood Street to
show the name heretofore used for said street and said sign shall
be maintained for at least six (6) months from the date of Jan-
uary l, 1975.
