A KESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAIqTA ANA
AMENDING SECTION 3 OF RESOLUTION NO. 58-281 TO REALLOCATE
THE CLASSIFICATION OF EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR-REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY
TO A MORE EQUITABLE SALARY RANGE
WHEREAS, on November 3, 1958, the City Council passed and adopted Resolution No.
58-281, revising and re-establishing the Basic Compensation Plan for employees of the
City of Santa Aha; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has from time to time amended this Resolution iu order
to maintain the relevency and equity of th~ Basic Compensation Plan; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to maintain the salary of the Executive
Direct~-Redevelolmuent Agency within the range of currently prevalent salaries for
similar positions in cities of comparable size; and
WHEREAS, the Executive Director-Redevelopment Agency is of a caliber to warrant
payment equal to or above the prevailing rate:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That Section 3 of Resolution No. 58-281 is
hereby amended in accordance with merit system principles, by reallocattng the
classification of Executive Director-Redevelopment Agency, currently assigned to
Range 439, $1778-$2160 per month, as follows:

BE IT FUP, THER RESOLVED: That this amendment shall take effect on September
1st 1974.
