HomeMy WebLinkAbout74-138RESOLUTION NO. 74-138 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA RESTRICTING PARKING ON CERTAIN AREAS OF LINCOLN AVENUE WHEREAS, in order to provide and maintain the maximum traffic flow upon Lincoln Avenue and to permit the establishment of bicycle lanes for an increasing number of bicyclists, the full width of said streets must be employed in certain areas during certain times of the day; and WHEREAS, the maintenance of parking spaces upon said streets in those areas during those certain times would constitute a considerable hazard to motorists and bicyclists by reason of the necessity of closing traffic lanes to provide such parking spaces; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That parking is hereby prohibited along the west side of Lincoln Avenue as follows: 1. Seventeenth Street to Station 43+70 - No Parking 7 A.M. to 7 P.M. daily 2. Station 43+70 to Fairhaven Avenue - No Parking anytime PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa Ana at its adjourned regular meeting held on the 9th day of Septembe~ 1974.
