RESOLUTION NO. 74-152
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SANTA ANA ORDERING THE VACATION
OF A TWENTY-FOOT EASEMENT LOCATED BET-
WEEN COLUMBINE STREET AND SHERWOOD STREET
WHEREAS, on recoa~endation of the Departz~ent of Public
Works and the Planning C~muission of the City of Santa Aha,
Resolution No. 74-145 was adopted giving notice of intention
to vacate a twenty-foot wide easement located between Colum-
bine Street and Sherwood Street; and
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 74-145 was published and notice
of intention to vacate was posted as required by law; and
WHEREAS, on October 7, 1974, a public hearing was duly held
on said vacation;
NOW, THEP~EFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of
the City of Santa Aha hereby finds that the abovementioned
easement is unnecessary for present or prospective street pur-
poses and does hereby make its order abandoning and vacating
for street purposes that certain right of way located in the
City of Santa Ana, County of Orange, State of California,
described as follows:

the City of Santa Aha, County of Orange,
State of California, per map recorded
in Book 8, Page'89'Of'Miscellaneous
Maps in the office of the County Re-
corder of said County, described as
follows:
Beginning at the Northwest corner of
said Tract; thence along the Westerly
line of said Tract South 3° 08' 19"
West 676.43 feet to the Southeast corner
of the land described in the deed to the
City of Santa Aha recorded July 27, 1964,
in Book 7149, Page 969 of Official Records,
said Southeast corner being the true
point of beginning; thence along said
Westerly line North 3° 08'19" East
370.00 feet; thence South 88° 01' 42"
East 20.00 feet tO a line parallel with
and distant Easterly 20.00 feet, measur~
at right angles, from said Westerly line;
thence along said parallel line South 3°
08' 19" West 369.89 feet to the Easterly
prolongation of the Southerly line of the
land described in said deed; thence along
said Easterly prolongation North 88° 14'
17" West 20.00 feet to the true point of
beginning.
Except that portion thereof lying
Southerly of the following description
line.
Beginning at the Southeast corner of
the land described in said deed to the
city of santa Ana; thence North 3~ 08' 19"
East 30.01 feet to the Northeast corner
of said land, being a point on a curve
concave Northerly and having a radius of
120.00 feet, said curve being tangent to the
Northerly line of the land described in said

deed, a radial to said point bears South
1° 45' 33" West, said point being the true
point of beginning; the Easterly 9.63 feet
along said curve through a central angle
of 4° 36' 01"; thence tangent to said curve
North 87° 09' 32" East 10.44 feet to the
Easterly line of the land described above.
Also except that portion thereof included
within the land described in the deed re-
corded in Book 11217, Page 951 of Official
Records, records of said County.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of
Santa Ana at its regular meeting held on the
7th day of October , 1974.
