RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL ADOPTING A MAP
SHOWING THE GENERAL NATURE, LOCATION AND EXTENT
FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF CERTAIN PUBLIC IMPROVE-
MENT WORK AND SHOWING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE
DISTRICT TO BE ASSESSED FOR SAID IMPROVEMENTS
ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 239
WHEREAS, the City Council has received a map showing the
general nature, location and extent of the proposed improvement
work and also designating and describing the boundaries of the
area proposed to be assessed in what is known as ASSESSMENT DISTRICT
NO. 239.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That a map of the assessment district entitled
ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 239 showing the general nature, location and
extent of the proposed public improvement work, and also showing and
describing the boundaries of the proposed assessment district and
lands and property to be specially assessed to pay the costs and
expenses of the proposed improvements designated as "Proposed Bound-
aries of ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 239" is hereby submitted, and the
same is hereby approved and adopted.
SECTION 2. That the original map of said proposed boundaries
of the assessment district, and one copy thereof, be filed in the
Office of the City Clerk and a copy thereof also be filed in the office
of the Superintendent of Streets.
SECTION 3. That the City Clerk is directed to endorse on
the original and on at least one copy of the map of the assessment
district as herein referred to, a certificate evidencing the date and
adoption of this Resolution, and said Clerk is further directed to
file the original of such in the office of the City Clerk, and within
fifteen (15) days after the adoption of the resolution fixing the time
and place of the hearing on the formation or extent of said district,
the Clerk is further directed to file a copy of said map with the
endorsement thereon with the County Recorder all in the manner and
form provided for in Section 3111 of the Streets and Highways Code of
the State of California.
SECTION 4. A copy of said map also shall be submitted to
the Southwestern Mutual Water Company, Inc. for their review, consider-
ation and concurrence.
