A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
CITY OF SANTA ANA ESTABLISHING A SC~6~
~FEES FOR PERMITS TO MOVE BUILDINGS AND
PERFORM CONSTRUCTION WORK WITHIN THE STREET
RIGHTS OF WAY AND EASEMENTSOFTHE CITY OF
SANTA ANA
WHEREAS, Sections 8-1801 and 33-31 of the Santa Ana
Municipal Code provide for the establishment of fees for per-
mits to move buildings and perform construction work within
the street rights of way and easements of the City, and
WHEREAS, fees were last revised in 1955 and increased
costs since then now require an upward adjustment in such per-
mit fees.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the following
permit fees be collected from applicants for permits for moving
buildings and performing construction work within street rights
of way and easements of the City as provided for in Sections
8-1801 and 33-31 of the Santa Ana Municipal Code. The fees
for permits to perform work under said Code sections are hereby
established by the following fee schedule:
Permit issuance fee to be added to
all other fees.

culverts and lined channels, including

including earthwork, each

Manholes, vaults, catch basins and junction
chambers, including earthwork, each 13.00

Storage of material in maintained street

Moving of buildings on maintained street
right of way:
a. Building, under 1,000 square feet . 5.00
b. Building, 1,000 square feet or over . .10.00
c. Legal weight and size load. NO PERMIT NEEDED
Any item not covered in this schedule
shall be charged at 2% of the construction
cost or at City's cost plus overhead at
City's option.
A refundable deposit of $50.00 cash or bond
shall be posted with each permit application
and will be refunded to applicant upon satis-
factory completion of the work under the permit.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That this Resolution shall be-
come effective the 9th day of April , 1975.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of
Santa Ana at its adjourned regular meeting held on the 10th day
of March 1975.
