A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA, CHANGING
THE NAME OF A PORTION OF SUNFLOWER
AVENUE TO WAKEHAM PLACE
WHEREAS, The City of Costa Mesa has realigned Sunflower
Avenue west of Bear Street in a southerly direction, and
WHEREAS, Said realignment leaves two streets west of
Bear Street bearing the name of Sunflower Avenue, and
WHEREAS, On recommendation of the Planning Commission,
the City Council has determined that it would be in the best interest
of the City of Santa Ana to change the name of a portion of Sunflower
Avenue west of Bear Street.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED That the City Council of
Santa Ana does hereby change the name of Sunflower Avenue to Wakeham
Place beginning at Bear Street and continuing west to the connection
with the realigned portion of Sunflower Avenue
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED That the Director of Public Works
is instructed to place street name signs to show the name of said
street to be Wakeham Place.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of
Santa Aha at its regular meeting held on the 17th day of March 1975.
