RESOLUTION NO. 75-52
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SANTA ANA AUTHORIZING SANTA ANA LODGE, NO.
794, BENEVOLENT AND PROTECTIVE ORDER OF ELKS,
TO USE THE CITY EMBLEM FOR CONVENTION PURPOSES
WHEREAS, Section 2-212 of the Santa Ana Municipal
Code declares that no person, other than an officer or em-
ployee of t~e City of Santa Ana, shall use the city emblem,
or any facsimile thereof, for any purpose except to the ex-
tent he may be authorized to do so by resolution of the city
council; and
WHEREAS, Santa Ana Lodge, No. 794, Benevolent and
Protective Order of Elks, has requested the permission of
the city council to use the city emblem as part of its sou-
venir design for Elks conventions;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Santa Aha that the members of Santa Ana Lodge,
NO. 794, Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks are hereby
authorized to use the city emblem in the design of the said
Lodge's Convention Badges only.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of
Santa Ana at its re§ular meeting held on the Sth
day of May , 1975.
