Home My WebLink About75-053CJL/dc 4-21-75 RESOLUTION NO. 75-53 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA WITHDRAWING FROM THE SANTA ANA RIVER AND SANTIAGO CREEK GREEN- BELT COMMISSION. WHEREAS, that certain agreement providing for the establish- ment of the Santa Ana River and Santiago Creek Greenbelt Commis- sion entered into between the County of Orange, other county agencies, other county cities, and the City of Santa Ana, pro- vides in Section 16 thereof, that "any member may withdraw from the Santa Ana River and Santiago Creek Greenbelt Commission by filing a resolution of its governing body to that effect by May 1st of any year, and that such withdrawal will be effective at the commencement of the following fiscal year, and the withdraw- ing member shall not be liable for the membership assessment le- vied for said following fiscal year"; and WHEREAS, it is the desire of the Santa Ana City Council that the City of Santa Ana withdraw from the Santa Aha River and San- tiago Creek Greenbelt Commission. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Santa Ana that the City of Santa Ana withdraw from the Santa Ana River and Santiago Creek Greenbelt Commission, which withdrawal is to be effective at the commencement of the follow- ing fiscal year of the Commission, July 1, 1975. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the Santa Ana City Council is hereby instructed to file a certified copy of this Re- solution with the Santa Ana River and Santiago Creek Greenbelt Com- mission prior to May l, 1975. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the Santa Ana City Council is hereby instructed to file a certified copy of this Re- solution with each and every present member of the Commission, the Treasurer of the Commission (Treasurer of Orange County) and the Auditor of the Commission (Auditor-Controller of Orange County).
