OP THE CITY OF SANTA ANA APPROVING THE
ANNEXATION OF TERRITORY DESIGNATED "FAIR-
HAVEN AND GRAND SOUTHEAST ANNEX NO. $"
TO THE CITY OF SANTA ANA
WHEREAS, the Local Agency Formation Co~nission of Orange County has approved
a description of territory herein contained and annexation of said territory
to the City of Santa Aha, California; and
WHEREAS, in accordance with the requirements of Goverment Code Section
S4797.1, the Local Agency Formation Commission of Orange County has approved
the within annexation and has authorized the City Council of the City of Santa
Aha, California, to annex said territory without notice and hearing by the City
Council of the City of Santa Ana;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council of the City of Santa
Aha, California, hereby finds and declares that said territory was uninhabited
at the time of adoption of this Resolution, and is contiguous to the City of
Santa Ana; and written consent to annexation has been filed with the City of
Santa Ana by the owner of all of the land in the territory of the said annexation;
and that all of the statements herein are true and correct.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the annexation to the City of Santa Ana and
to Ward No. 1 in said City of all of the territory in the Cotmty of Orange,
State of California, designated as "Fairhaven and Grand Southeast Annex No.
$," and described as:
That portion of A. Green Lot of A. B. Chapman Tract, as shown on
a map of survey filed in Book $2, Page 58, Record of Surveys, in
the Office of the County Recorder of Orange County, State of Cal-
ifornia, described as follows:
Beginning at an angle point in the existing bonndary line of the
City of Santa Ama, as established by the Santa Clara and Wright
Northeast Annexation by Resolution Number 72-9, said angle point
being the Northeast corner of said Annexation; thence along the
existing boundary line of last said Annexation, South 89° S9' 43"
West, a distance 979.29 feet to the Northwest corner of said Annex-
ation, said Northwest corner also being a point on the East line
of the existing City boundary of the City of Santa Ana as established
by the Santa Clara and Grand Northeast Annexation Number 3 by Resolu-
tion Number 75-116; thence departing from said Northwest corner
of said Santa Clara and Wright Northeast Annexation, and along the
east line of the existing City boundary of said Santa Clara and
Grand Northeast Annexation Number $, North 0° 05' 07" West, a dis-
tance 15.60 feet to the Northeast corner of last said Annexation,
said Northeast corner also being the Southeast corner of the Joana
and Grand Southeast Annexation to the City of Santa Ana as established
by Resolution Number 71-68; thence along said existing City boundary
of last said Amnexation, North 0° 05' 07" West, a distance 242.20
feet to the Northeast corner of last said Annexation, said North-
east corner being also the Southeast corner of the Grovemont and
Grand Southeast Annexation to the City of Santa Aha as established
by Resolution Number 70-116; thence along said existing City boundary
by last said Annexation, North 0° 03' 07" West, a distance 428.90
feet to the Northeast corner of last said Annexation, said North-
east corner being also the Southeast corner of the Fairhaven and
Grand Southeast Annexation Number 2 as established by Ordinance
Number NS-633; thence along said existing City boundary by last
said Annexation, North 0° 05' 07" West, a distance 666.19 feet to
the Northeast corner of last said Annexation, said Northeast corner
being a point along the South line of the existing City boundary
as established by the Fairhaven and Cambridge Northwest Annexation
by Ordinance Number NS-588; thence along said existing City boundary
by last said Annexation, North 89° 56' 55" East, a distance 979.33
feet to an angle point in the existing boundary line of the City

east Annexation .to the City of Santa Ana by Ordinance Number NS-576;
thence along said existing City boundary by last said Annexation,
South 0° 03' 01" East, a distance 1352.32 feet to the POINT OF
BEGINNING.
be and the same is hereby approved, under the Annexation of Uninhabited Terri-
tory Act of 1939 comprising Government Code sections 35300, Et Seq.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: The Clerk of the Council of the City of Santa
Ana shall without delay transmit to the Secretary of State a certified copy
of this Resolution.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa Aha at its
regular meeting held on the 18th day of August, 1975.
