RESOLUTION NO. 75-119
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SANTA ANA FIXING WATER RATES AND STAND-BY SERVICE
CHARGES AND REPEALING RESOLUTION NO. 74-142
BE IT RESOLVED: That the following water rates and service
charges are to be levied and collected for each water service to which
water is supplied by the City, or to which a stand-by service is provided,
pursuant to Section 39-21 of the Santa Ana Municipal Code.
A. WATER RATES BI-MONTHLY RATE PER 100 CUBIC FEET
First 1,500 Cubic Feet of water used: $ 0.36
Next 6,000 Cubic Feet of water used: $ 0.34
Next 17,500 Cubic Feet of water used: $ 0.29
Next 25,000 Cubic Feet of water used: $ 0.25
Over 50,000 Cubic Feet of water used: $ 0.23

In the event of a fire certified by the Fire Department, the
charge will be adjusted to exclude water used for fire sup-
pression.
4. Private Fire Service Rates Without Detector Check Valves,
Bi-Monthly Stand-by Charge
The charges shall be double the rates for private fire ser-
vices with detector check valves.
SERVICE OUTSIDE CITY LIMITS
All rates and service charges for service to premises outside the
City limits shall be double the above rates and charges, except
those premises outside the City limits heretofore served at the
rates charged to those within the City limits.
TEMPORARY WATER SERVICE
1. Water for construction work and other uses such that service is
required for only a limited time, not to exceed six months as
provided for in Section 39-26 of the Santa Ana Municipal Code:
All water supplied from fire hydrants:
Per 100 cubic feet $ 0.42
Meter rental per day $ 0.70
Water for residential subdivision construction work not to
exceed four months as provided for in Section 39-29 of the
Santa Ana Municipal Code:
All water supplied from fire hydrants or water services with
spacer connections:
Per Lot $ 9.00
Per 100 feet of sewer ditch
$ 2.80

BE IT RESOLVED: That Resolution No. 74-142 fixing water rates
and stand-by service charges is hereby repealed, effective 10-1-75.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That this resolution shall be operative
from and after the 1st day of October, 1975.
