April 8~ 1957 after service of written notice thereof delivered
e~rsonally to Dale H. Heinly, ~J. Ogden Markel, William Jerome and
ilford W. Dahl~ and to the Tu=tin News~ a newspaper, by United States
mabel posted April 5, 1957, who had demanded notice of Special Meetings.

On motion of Councilman Heinly, seconded by Jerome and carried, the report from the
Planning Commission recommending approval of proposal to annex property located ecs
of Harbor Boulevard and south of Harvard Street, consisti~ of approximately 226
acres, known as "Croddyland Annex No. 2" and petition signed by W.F.Croddy and
N~reld T. Segerstrom, were received and filed. On motion of Councilman Jerome,
seconded by Markel and carried, the report from the Botuudary Commission ad%-isir$
that the bo~ndarie's are reasonably definite and certain, as orally reported by the
Reso. No. 57-94

City Attorney, was accepted.
The Council having unanimously waived the reading of the Resolution, on motion of
Councilman Heialy, seconded by Markel and carried, the following Resolution entitle
"Resolution No. 57-94 giving notice of proposed annexation to the
City of Santa Ana of that certain uninhabited territory described
herein and designated 'Croddyland Annex No. 2', and giving notice
of time and place for hearing of protests thereto"
was considered and passed by the following vote:

On motion of Councilman Heinly, seconded by Markel and carried, the report from the
Planning Commission recommendin~ approval of proposal to annex property located on
the south side of Fruit Stree% between Mabury Street and Tustin Avenue~ a portion
of which extends to First Street, consisting of approxi~mately 136 acres, ka~own as
"Mabury Annex No. l"~ and petition signed by H.&.J. ~bury Company, were received
and filed. On motion of Councilman Heinly~ ~econded by Jerome and carried~ the
report from the Boundary Commission advising that the boundaries are reasonably
definite and certain~ as orally reported by the City Attorney~ was accepted.
