RESOLUTION NO. 75-162
A RESOLUTION OF TtIE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SANTA ANA ENDORSING THE CONSTRUCTION OF A
PARKING GARAGE FACILITY WITHIN THE REDEVELOP-
MENT PROJECT AREA AND THE APPLICATION FOR A
FEDERAL GRANT THEREFOR BY TttE REDEVELOP~{ENT
AGENCY
WHEREAS, the Redevelopment Agency of the City of
Santa Ana desires to apply for an Economic Development Agency
grant of five hundred thousand dollars ($500,000) to be used
for the construction of a parking garage facility to be built
in conjunction with a proposed expanded shopping center within
the Redevelopment Project Area; and
WHEREAS, the proposed construction of said parking
garage facility is a legal function of the Redevelopment Agency
of the City of Santa Ana and the Redevelopment Agency is
organized, equipped and exclusively authorized to carry out the
purposes of redevelopment within the said Project Area;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council
of the City of Santa Ana does hereby unreservedly endorse the
proposed construction of the said parking garage facility and
the application for an Economic Development Agency grant for
said construction by the Redevelopment Agency of the City of
Santa Ana.
