No. 57-111 Declaring result of General Municipal Election held April 9, 1957 ~$ Council Chamber Santa D~a City Hall April 1~ 1~5~. 7:30 -.M. tI · This being the d~te to canvass voters ballots and it satisfactorily appear~ to the City Cotmcil of the City of Santa Aha that notice of the General Municipal Election was duly and reg~arly held on April 9, 1~5~ according to law. 0n motion of CounciLman Jerome, seconded by Heinty ~d carried, the Clerk was orde~d to proceed with the canvassing of the bal~ots. ~ere were f~ ~y-e~ht voting precincts established for the p~pose of holdi~ said Election~ consisting of a consolidation of the reL~ar elect~on precincts established for holding the last gener~ Sta~ and Comity elections. As a ~,~ of the canvass ~t was disco?e~d that the Tal~y List in Co~ool.~.~a~d ~ecinct No. 24 had not been ente~d cor~ctly. ~e Chief of' Police ,~ao reques~d to ~,on~a~t the election officers who ser~.~ed on Consglidated ~cinct ,o. 24, for the pur~se of correcting the Tally List. On motibn of Cocci!man Jerome~ seconded by Marhel and carried~ the Clerk was authorized 'to pro- ceed with the canvassing of the absentee ballots.
