NOW, TH~KEFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council of the City of Santa Ana does hereby find and declare Lhat the public interest and necessity require that in order to widen Seventeenth Street, between Ross Street and Olive Street, the hereinbelow described real property be ~ondemned. Legal Description A.P. 002-094-20 PARCEL 1: The Southerly 12.00 feet of the Easterly 25.00 feet of Lot 26 of TraCt No. 748, in the City of Santa Ana, as shown on a map thereof recorded in Book 30, Page 9 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County, California. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the attached map be entered as Exhibit A and be used as an illustration of the here- inabove described property. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That work is to begin immediately, and it is necessary for the City of Santa Ana to have possession of the hereinabove described property as soon as possible. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the project is planned in a manner that will be most compatible with the greatest public good and the least private injury and the property sought to be acquired is necessary for the project. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the City Attorney is hereby ordered to bring an action in the name of the City of Santa Ana to condemn said property necessary to be taken and to do all things necessary to prosecute said action to final determination. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the City Attorney is ordered to obtain immediate possession of that portion of the above described property together with the right to enter upon the remaining property where necessary for construction and severing purposes.
