RESOLUTION NO. 7630
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF SANTA ANA ESTABLISHING
FEES FOR EMERGENCY SERVICES, MEDICAL
CARE AND TRANSPORTATION RENDERED TO
PERSONS BY PARAMEDICS OF THE CITY OF
SANTA ANA; AND REPEALING RESOLUTIONS
NOS. 75-128 AND 75-165.
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Ana as follows:
1. That each person who receives emergency services,
medical care, or emergency transportation from any City Para-
medic unit shall be charged a fee, which shall be determined accord-
ing to the following table:
Emergency Service or
Medical Care Only
Emergency Transportation
to a Hospital
Each resident
of the City of
Santa Ana
$25.00 $50.00
Each Person who
is not a resi-
dent of the City
of Santa Ana
$50.00 $100.00
2. That the City Manager is hereby authorized to contract
with the Santa Ana-Tustin Community Hosp.ital, a California non-profit
corporation, .for the billing and collection of the foregoing fees,
on behalf of the City of Santa Ana, at a charge to the City of no
more than Three Dollars ($3.00) for each such billing.
3. Resolution No. 75-128 of this Council, adopted on
September 2, 1975, and Resolution No. 75-165 of this Council,
adopted on November 17, 1975, are repealed.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of
Santa Ana at its regular meeting held on the 17th
day of February , 1976
