A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SANTA ANA AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 74-162 REVISING
THE LIST OF TRANSITIONAL C.E.T.A. CLASS TITLES AND
CERTAIN COMPENSATIONRATES ESTABLISHED FOR THE
EMPLOYMENT OF UNEMPLOYED SANTA ANA RESIDENTS UNDER
THE COMPREHENSIVE EMPLOYMENT AND TRAINING ACT OF
1973 ~.E.T.A.)
WHEREAS, on November 18, 1974, the City Council passed and adopted Resolution
No. 74-162 establishing transitional classes and compensation rates for the employment
of unemployed Santa Aha residents under the Comprehensive Employment and Training Act
of 1973 (C.E.T.A.); and
WHEREAS, the compensation rates for said classes of employment have not been
adjusted since they were originally established; and
WHEREAS, it is now desired to amend the list of class titles set forth in
said Resolution by:
(1) Deleting the unused class title of Code Enforcement Assistant
(2) Adding the new class titles of Fire Inspection Assistant I, Fire
Inspection Assistant II, Inspection Assistant II, and Landscape
Design Aide at the rates set out below.
(3) Changing the class titles of Inspection Trainee, Personnel Assistant,
and Publicity Assistant to Inspection Assistant I, Personnel Analyst
Assistant, and Public Information Assistant, respectively; and,
WHEREAS, it is also now desired to assign new salary range numbers together
with effective dates to all new class titles and certain existing class titles;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the list of class titles and the
salary range numbers set out opposite the class titles, be amended to read as
follows:

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That this Resolution shall take effect on the
first day of July, 1976.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa Ama at its
regular meeting held on the 27th day of Jul~ , 1976.
