RESOLUTION NO. 7C-3
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SANTA ANA AMENDING THE LAND USE AND OPEN-
SPACE ELEMENTS OF THE GENERAL PLAN BY REDE-
SIGNATING 20.4 ACRES LOCATED ON THE SOUTH SIDE
OF SEGERSTROM AVENUE, 400 FEET EAST OF BRISTOL
STREET, FROM OPEN SPACE TO LOW DENSITY RESIDEN-
TIAL
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission, at its December 13,
1976, regular meeting, following public hearing noticed and held
in the manner prescribed in Section 27-16 of the Santa Ana Muni-
cipal Code, has approved and recommended to this Council an amend-
ment to the General Plan of the City of Santa Ana as hereinafter
set forth; and
WHEREAS, this Council, on January 3, 1977, has held a
public hearing, duly noticed, in accordance with Section 27-17
of the Santa Ana Municipal Code, and based upon such hearing and
the evidence therein presented, does now find the said amendment,
as recommended by the Planning Commission, to be in the public
interest; and
WHEREAS, this Council, prior to taking this action has
reviewed and considered the information contained in that certain
document entitled "Environmental Impact Report 76-9" and has
approved said document as the final environmental impact report
for the project proposed on the subject site;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Land Use and
Open Space elements of the General Plan of the City of Santa Aha
are hereby amended by deleting a site consisting of approximately
20.4 acres, located on the south side of Segerstrom Avenue, approx-
imately 400 feet east of Bristol Street, from the open-space desig-
nation and redesignating such site as low density residential,
in accordance with that certain document entitled "Exhibit 76-7,
General Plan Amendment Mo. 1976-7J'
ADOPTED, this 17th day of January , 1977, by
the following vote:

Garthe, Ward
