HomeMy WebLinkAbout77-030REL :nr 2-24-77 RESOLUTION NO. 77-30 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA APPROVING THE CONFLICT OF INTEREST CODES OF THE SEVERAL OFFICES, DEPARTMENTS, BOARDS, AND COMMISSIONS OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA WHEREAS, this Council by Resolution 76-137, as amended by Resolution 77-8, did designate the several offices, departments, boards and commissions of the City of Santa Aha which constitute "agencies" within the meaning of the Political Reform Act of 1974, Chapter 7, Article 3, and direct the submission of Conflict of Interest Codes prepared by each such agency for review by this Council as the Code Reviewing Body, within the meaning of the said Act; and WHEREAS, each such agency has submitted a Conflict of Interest Code as directed, and each such Code is now on file with the Clerk of the Council; and WHEREAS, this Council has, on February 22, 1977, held a public hearing, duly noticed in the manner required by law, for the purpose of allowing all offieers, employees, members, and con- sultants of said agencies and all residents of the jurisdiction of the City of Santa Ana a fair opportunity to present their views; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Santa Ana, as follows: 1. Effective April 1, 1977, each of the said Conflict of Interest Codes, as prepared and submitted and now on file in the Offioe of the Clerk of the Council is approved and adopted, without revision. 2. The Clerk of the Council shall certify each Code as approved by this Council to be effective April 1, 1977, shall retain the original of each Code on file in her office, and shall forward a true and correct copy of each Code, to the respective heads of each agency, or, in the case of a board or commission, to the respective administrative officers designated in Resolution 76-137. 3. The City Attorney shall prepare forms and instruction materials appropriate for the disclosure of financial interests pursuant to the said Codes and distribute the same to the agencies as necessary.
