RESOLUTION NO. 77-68
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SANTA ANA ENDORSING A FLAG RAISING
CEREMONY TO BE HELD ON JULY 4, 1977 IN
FRONT OF THE OLD COUNTY COURT HOUSE BY
MEMBERS OF LABORERS AND HOD CARRIERS
UNION LOCAL NO. 652 A. F. OF L. & C.I.O.
AND COMMENDING SAID UNION FOR THE PART
THEY HAVE PLAYED IN THE AMERICAN LABOR
MOVEMENT TO ASSIST THE AMERICAN WORKER.
WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors of the County of Orange
has authorized the members of Laborers and Hod Carriers Union
Local No. 652 A. F. of L. & C.I.O. to conduct a flag raising
ceremony at 8:00 A.M. on July 4, 1977 in front of the old County
Courthouse.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF SANTA ANA, AS FOLLOWS:
1. That this Council does hereby endorse said flag
raising ceremony, and does hereby urge all members of the
Community to attend and participate in the same.
2. That this Council does hereby commend the Laborers
and Hod Carriers Union Local No. 652 A. F. of L. & C.I.O. for the
part it and its members, past and present, have played in the
American Labor movement to assist the American worker.
