RESOLUTION NO. 77-80
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA AWARDING
ROBERT H. DAVIS $100.00 FOR HIS RESCUE
EFFORTS DURING A FIRE ON MARCH 6, 1977
IN SANTA ANA.
WHEREAS, on March 6, 1977, a fire occurred at 1040
West MacArthur Boulevard, Santa Aha; and
WHEREAS, ROBERT H. DAVIS, age 17, of 1218 Donegal Place,
Costa Mesa, witnessed smoke seeping through an apartment at
said address and forced his way into said apartment and attempted
to rescue a man therein; and
WHEREAS, this Council desires to reward said efforts
for the reason that this Council finds that such life saving
efforts serve and support the public health, safety and welfare.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Santa Aha:
That the City Council of the City of Santa Ana hereby
awards ROBERT H. DAVIS the sum of One Hundred Dollars ($100.00)
for his heroic rescue efforts during said fire on March 6, 1977
in the City of Santa Aha.
