Home My WebLink About77-113RESOLUTION NO. 77- A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 74-162 TO REVISE THE TRANSITIONAL CLASSIFICATION AND PAY PLAN ESTABLISHED FOR THE EMPLOYMENT OF UNEMPLOYED SANTA ANA RESIDENTS UNDER THE COMPREHENSIVE EMPLOYMENT AND TRAINING ACT OF 1973 (C.E.T.A.) WHEREAS, on November 18, 1974, the City Council passed and adopted Resolution No. 74-162 establishing transitional classes and compensation rates for the employment of unemployed Santa Ana residents under the Comprehensive Employment and Training Act of 1973 (C.E.T.A.); and WHEREAS, said Resolution was once amended by the City Council (Resolution 76-82) to change, delete and add certain class titles and to adjust salary ranges; and WHEREAS, it is now desired to further revise the list of transitional class titles set forth in said Resolution, as amended, by deleting several unused titles, provide for the phasing out of certain class titles, and to add a series of new class titles together with salary and wage schedules. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Santa Ana: 1. THat the following class titles be deleted from the list of class titles con- tained in Resolution 74-162, as follows: CLASS TITLES CLASS TITLES Animal License Inspector Clerical Aide Dispatcher Trainee Garage Attendant Landscape Design Aide Personnel Analyst Assistant 2. THat the following footnote be added following the list of class titles: "(T) designates 'Terminal Classification'. A class so designated will be automatically deleted from the above list of class titles when vacated by the last remaining incumbent. No new appointments may be made to the class once it has been designated as 'terminal' by Council action." 3.
