RESOLUTION NO. 78-3
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SANTA ANA AFFIRMING THE DECISION
OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION APPROVING
CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT NO. 77-26, TO ALLOW
CONDOMINIUM CONVERSIONS AT 922-926 NORTH
BEWLEY STREET AND DENYING APPEAL NO. 384
WHEREAS, a public hearing was duly held before the
City Council of the City of Santa Ana on January 3, 1978, on
the action taken by the Planning Commission in approving
Conditional Use Permit No. 77-26, to allow conversion of
four single family residences and duplexes at 922-926 North
Bewley Street in the R-1 District to condominiums; and
WHEREAS, prior to taking action on said Conditional
Use Permit this Council has reviewed and considered the
information contained in Negative Declaration 77-217 for the
subject property and, on the basis thereof, finds that the
project will not have a significant effect upon the environment,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AS FOLLOWS:
1. That based on such public hearing and the
oral and documentary evidence submitted therein, the City
Council does hereby affirm the decision of the Planning
Commission in approving approving Conditional Use Permit
Number 77-26.
2. That the City Council hereby adopts as its
findings of fact for approval of the Negative Declaration
and Conditional Use Permit No. 77-26 that certain "Finding
of Fact, Conditional Use Permit No. 77-26," prepared and
submitted by the Planning Commission, on file in the office
of the Clerk of the Council, and incorporated by reference
herein as though fully set forth, except that condition
6(A) (3), requiring concrete slabs to be removed and replaced
with landscaping, is deleted therefrom.
3. That Appeal Number 384 is denied, except for
the deletion of condition 6(A) (3) from the requirements in
said "Finding of Fact."
