RESOLUTION NO. 78-4
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SANTA ANA AFFIRMING THE DECISION
OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION APPROVING
VARIANCE NO. 77-64, TO ALLOW A ROOF SIGN
AND PATIO DINING AT 1727 EAST SEVENTEENTH
STREET.
WHEREAS, a public hearing was duly held before the
City Council of the City of Santa Aha on January 3, 1978, on
the action taken by the Planning Commission in approving
Variance No. 77-64, to allow a roof mounted sign in addition
to a pole sign and to allow patio dining in the open at 1727
East Seventeenth Street in the C-5 District; and
WHEREAS, prior to taking action on said variance
this Council has reviewed and considered the information
contained in Negative Declaration number 77-251 for the
subject property, and, on the basis thereof, finds that the
project will not have a significant effect upon the environment,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AS FOLLOWS:
1. That based on such public hearing and on the
oral and documentary evidence submitted therein, the City
Council does hereby affirm the action of the Planning Commission
in approving Variance No. 77-64.
2. That the City Council hereby adopts as its
findings of fact for approval of the Negative Declaration
and Variance No. 77-64 that certain "Finding of Fact, Variance
Application No. 77-64," prepared and submitted by the Planning
Commission, on file in the office of the Clerk of the Council,
and incorporated by reference herein as though fully set
forth.
ADOPTED this 16th day of January , 1978,
by the following vote:
