RESOLUTION NO. 78-6
RESOLUTION HONORING ARTHUR D. WEAVER
OUTGOING PRESIDENT OF THE GREATER
SANTA ANA CHAMBER OF COMMERCE
WHEREAS, it is the City Council of Santa Ana's desire to
recognize individuals who have contributed to Santa Ana's growth and
quality of life; and
WHEREAS, Arthur A. Weaver has served as the 1977 President
of the Santa Ana Chamber of Commerce; and
WHEREAS, Arthur A. Weaver has been a resident of Orange County
and a Santa Ana businessman for many years; and
WHEREAS, Arthur A. Weaver has served on the Greater Santa Ana
Chamber of Commerce Ecology Committee; and
WHEREAS, Arthur A. Weaver has served as Chairman to the Greater
Santa Ana Chamber of Commerce Industrial Committee; and
WHEREAS, Arthur A. Weaver has been very active in his civic
involvement and is presently a member of the Santa Ana Masonic Lodge;
and
WHEREAS, Arthur A. Weaver demonstrated great leaderhip in the
Greater Santa Ana Chamber of Commerce by maintaining a close working
relationship with City Officials and did much to support the Santa
Ana Transit Terminal
NOW THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Santa Ana wishes
to congratulate, laud and extoll Arthur A. Weaver upon completion of
his 1977 term as President of the Greater Santa Ana Chamber of Commerce.
His leadership has done much to improve the City of Santa Ana through
a cons ciouseffort of communication and dialog with the City Council,
Boards, Commissions and Officials
RESOLVED this 16th day of January, 1978 by the following vote:
