RESOLUTION NO. 78-101
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AUTHORIZING
EXECUTION OF AN AMENDMENT OF
THE JOINT EXERCISE OF POWERS
AGREEMENT FOR ORANGE COUNTY
MANPOWER COMMISSION TO EXTEND THE
TERM THEREOF TO SEPT. 30, 1979.
WHEREAS, on February 4, 1974, the City Council
approved the participation of the City of Santa Ana in the
Orange County Manpower Commission and authorized the Mayor
to execute a Joint Exercise of Powers Agreement for Orange
County Manpower Commission, which Agreement was executed on
February 25, 1974, and thereafter amended and duly reexecuted;
and
WHEREAS, the City Council now desires to continue
the participation of the City in the Orange County Manpower
Commission through September 30, 1979.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Santa Ana:
1. City Council approves that certain "Amendment of
Joint Exercise of Powers Agreement for Orange County Manpower
Commission," a copy of which is on file in the office of the
Clerk of the Council.
2. The Mayor of the City of Santa Ana is hereby
authorized to execute said agreement on behalf of the City
of Santa Ana.
