RESOLUTION NO. 78-139
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SANTA ANA REQUESTING ADDITIONAL FUNDING
FROM THE ORANGE COUNTY ARTERIAL HIGHWAY
FINANCING PROGRAM FOR THE WIDENING OF FLOWER
STREET BETWEEN CIVIC CENTER DRIVE AND
SEVENTEENTH STREET.
WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors of the County of
Orange did, by Resolution No. 75-534 dated April 15, 1975.,
establish a fiscal program for the fiscal year 1975-76 under
the Orange County Arterial Highway Financing Program, and
WHEREAS, said program included funding for the
improvement of Flower Street between Civic Center Drive and
Seventeenth Street (AHFP Project No. 790 City Project No.
1373), and
WHEREAS, a Project Administration Agreement for said
Flower Street Project was executed by and between the City of
Santa Aha and the County of Orange on May 30, 1978, and
WHEREAS, construction costs have exceeded the
allocation as set forth in the Project Administration Agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA:
That said Council requests the Board of Supervisors
of the County of Orange to authorize the allocation of additional
Arterial Highway Financing Program funds in the amount of
$86,000.00 for the improvement of Flower Street between Civic
Center Drive and Seventeenth Street.
