RESOLUTION NO. 79- 38
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SANTA ANA AMENDING SECTION 3 OF RESOLUTION
NO. 58-281, AS ~2~IENDED, TO CHANGE THE SALARY
COMPENSATION LEVEL ASSIGNED TO THE CLASS OF
ASSISTANT CITY ATTORNEY
WHEREAS, on Noven~ber 3, 1958, the City Council passed
and adopted Resolution No. 58-281, revising and re-establishing
the Basic Compensation Plan for all officers and employees of the
City of Santa Ana; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has from time to time amended
said Resolution; and
WHEREAS, the City Council adopted Resolution No. 78-105
on August 21, 1978, increasing the level of salary compensation
assigned to the class of Assistant City Attorney in consideration
for the assignment of additional duties and responsibilities to
said class during the period of time the City Attorney serves in
a dual capacity as Acting City Manager-City Attorney; and
hqiEREAS, on February 20, 1979, the City Council appointed
a City Manager and relieved the City Attorney of the dual capacity.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF SANTA ANA:
That Section 3 of Resolution No. 58-281, as amended,
is hereby further amended by changing the level of
salary compensation assigned to the class title of
Assistant City Attorney (MM) from a single, flat
rate of $3,000.00 per month, to Salary Range Number
501 ($2402-2921); and
after February 20, 1979.
