RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL COl.]FIRMING
THE ASSESSMENT PURSUANT TO "I~PRO~/EMENT
ACT OF 1911", BEING DIVISION 7 OF THE
STREETS AND HIGHWAYS CODE OF THE STATE
OF CALIFORNIA. [A.D. 241 - SANTA ANITA NORTH~AST)
CITY OF SANTA ANA
WHEREAS, there has been filed with the City Clerk an assessment
to represent the costs and expenses of the work and improvements
done pursuant to proceedings had and taken under the provisions
of the "Improvement Act of 1911", being Division 7 of the Streets
and Highways Code of the State of California, and pursuant to
Resolution of Intention No. 78-16 , all within the boundaries
of a special assessment district known and designated as
ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 241
(hereinafter referred to as the "Assessment District"); and,
?~EREAS, the City Clerk. has duly given notice in the manner pro-
vided by law of the filing of said assessment and of the time set
for hearing; and,
WHEREAS, said City Council is now satisfied as to the proper com-
pletion of the work and of the spreading of the assessment.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SANTA ANA
CALIFORNIA, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the above recitals are all true and correct.
SECTION 2.
That the assessment and diagram, the proceedings
leading up to the same, and all acts and determi-
nations of the officers and agents of said City
in relation to the work done and appurtenances
and appurtenant work in said Assessment District
and to the said assessment, and the diagram
attached thereto, be, and the same are hereby
ratified and confirmed, the work and improvement
is accepted, and the Superintendent of Streets
is hereby ordered and directed to attach to said
assessment a warrant in the manner and form pro-
vided by law, said warrant bearing date of this
Resolution, and is further ordered to deliver
said warrant, diagram and assessment to the Con-
tractor, or its assignee, as the case may be,
forthwith upon payment of the incidental expenses
due thereon.

SECTION 3.
APPROVED and
That the assessment roll, warrant and diagram
shall be recorded in the Office of the Superin-
tendent of Streets and immediately thereafter
the City Clerk shall file a copy of the assess-
ment diagram in the Office of the County Recorder,
and thereafter shall record in said Office of the
County Recorder a Notice of Assessment, all in
the manner and form as prescribed by Section 3114
of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of
California.
