RESOLUTION NO. 79-107
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SANTA ANA PROVIDING FOR THE
EXECUTION OF LICENSE AGREEMENTS ON BEHALF
OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA BY THE DIRECTOR
OF PUBLIC WORKS FOR ENTRY ON LAND IN
CONNECTION WITH PUBLIC WORKS CONSTRUCTION
PROJECTS
WHEREAS, the City of Santa Ana, from time to time,
is engaged in public works construction projects; and
WHEREAS, at times it becomes necessary to secure a
license to enter upon or pass over property belonging to
another in order to complete such construction projects; and
WHEREAS, the City of Santa Ana desires to provide
for the restoration of such licensor's property upon
completion of such construction project; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Santa Ana
desires to delegate to the Director of Public Works the
authority to execute, on behalf of the City of Santa Ana,
license agreements as necessary to complete public works
construction projects.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA:
1. The Director of Public Works is hereby
authorized to execute, on behalf of the City of Santa Ana,
license agreements substantially in the form of agreement
attached hereto, as required to expedite and complete public
works construction projects.
2. Ail such license agreements shall be approved
as to form by the City Attorney, pursuant to Charter Section
703(f).
