RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OVERRULING
A~ND DENYING PROTESTS (A.D. 243 - SANTA ANITA SOUTH).
WHEREAS, this City Council has passed and adopted its Resolution
of Intention to order the construction of certain improvements,
together with appurtenances and appurtenant work, pursuant to the
terms and provisions of the "Improvement Act of 1911", being Divi-
sion 7 of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California,
in a special assessment district known and designated as
ASSESSmeNT DISTRICT NO. 243
(hereinafter referred to as the "Assessment District"); and,
WHEREAS, certain owners of property liable to be assessed for im-
provements have filed written protests or objections and delivered
the same to the City Clerk not later than the hour set for hearing
such objections; and,
WHEREAS, at the time set for hearing the protests and objections,
said City Council proceeded to hear the same; and all of the pro-
tests or objections have been heard and duly considered.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SANTA ANA
CALIFORNIA, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the above recitals are all true and correct.
SECTION 2.
That all protests and objections of every kind or
nature be~ and the same are hereby overruled and
denied.
SECTION 3.
That it is hereby determined and found that all
said p~cotests and objections are made by the owners
of less than one-half of the area of the property
to be assessed for said works of improvement within
said Assessment District.
