A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF SANTA ANA ESTABLISHING
A UNIFORM SCHEDULE OF FEES AND
REPEALING RESOLUTION NO. 78-56
WHEREAS, the City of Santa Ana performs special services for
the benefit of a limited number of persons to whom such services are of
value; and
WHEREAS, the cost of rendering such services should be borne
by that limited group who are the beneficiaries rather than the citizenry
at large; and
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion also that the
charges established for such services should equate to the direct cost
thereof to the City of Santa Ana;
NOW, THEREFOREv BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SANTA ANA: That the following fees for services and miscellaneous
sales are hereby fixed and established, to be effective from and after
the first day of September, 1979:

FEE FOR RESERVATION OF RECREATIONAL CENTERS
Recreation Centers may be reserved by any group or organization
when official City meetings, hearings, or City sponsored recre-
ational activities are not previously scheduled.
There will be a rental charge for all other users of $15.00 per
hour made payable to the City of Santa Ana. Groups charging an
entry fee or donation will have an additional rental fee of 10%
of gross monies collected, unless as a non profit organization.
If the organization does not meet the definition of "charitable"
or "religious" as defined in Chapter 26 of the Santa Ana Municipal
Code, and does not have a non profit I.R.S. number, it will be
classified as profit making and must pay the additional 10% fee.
There will be a $100.00 cleaning deposit charged per rental.

Copies of maps, diagrams, graphs or special work may be furnished
upon the payment of the cost of printing and preparation. For such items for
which a regular established price is unavailable, the Department Head, in
collaboration with the Director of Finance, may establish a price consistent
with the cost of printing and preparation thereof. The Director of Finance
shall report such exceptions to the City Manager. It shall be the responsi-
bility of the City Manager to review such costs annually and make such
recommendations to the City Council as required to keep the changes consistent
with the costs. All governmental agencies and their official representatives
shall be exempt from paying these charges for single copies for official use.
