A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SANTA ANA AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 58-281 TO ADD
THE CLASS TITLE OF HOUSING REPRESENTATIVE II TO
THE CITY'S BASIC CLASSIFICATION AND PAY PLAN
WHEREAS, on November 3, 1958, the City Council passed
and adopted Resolution No. 58-281, revising and re-estab-
lishing the Basic Compensation Plan for all officers and
employees of the City of Santa Ana; and
WHEREAS, Section 1004, Article X of the City Charter of
the City of Santa Ana requires the City Manager to pre-
pare, install and maintain a position classification and
pay plan subject to Civil Service Rules and Regulations and
the approval of the City Council; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has from time to time amended
said Resolution; and
WHEREAS, it is now desired to add a new classification
to the City's Classification and Pay Plan and to allocate it
to an appropriate salary range.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Santa Aha:
1. That Section 3 of Resolution No. 58-281, as amended,
is hereby further amended by:
a. Adding, in proper alphabetical sequence, the
class title of HOUSING REPRESENTATIVE II, and
b. Assigning, in accordance with the recently
adopted two-year salary adjustment plan, said new
class to the salary rate ranges on the effective
dates as next herein set out:

2. That this Resolution shall be operative from and after
